About me
My name is Miles Cullen and I’m a wildlife photographer based in outer London. I first picked up a camera during the Covid‑19 lockdown in 2020, teaching myself through YouTube tutorials, TikTok videos, and a lot of trial and error. What began as a way to pass the time quickly became a passion—especially after my first encounters with deer, which remain some of my favourite subjects to photograph.
MY CAREER
Today, I’m working to turn that passion into a full‑time career. Most of my days are spent out in the woods tracking wildlife, learning their patterns and waiting for the right moment. One of my most memorable recent encounters was with a little owl in Richmond Park—a reminder of why I love this work. I edit my images in adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, drawing inspiration from photographers like Olle Nilsson, Isaac Spotts and Inspawration Photography. My current gear is simple but reliable: a Nikon D3200 that’s been with me since the beginning.
MY FUTURE
Looking ahead, my goal is to take my photography to a professional level and one day work with organisations like the BBC or National Geographic . I want to share meaningful stories about wildlife and the importance of protecting the natural world. I’ll continue tracking the animals in my local area—still hoping to spot a tawny owl soon—and pushing myself to grow as both a photographer and a storyteller.
